Yes. You can buy it frozen too! It is sometimes is a bit wet when thawed so I make quite a thick consistency and add more butter and milk/cream later rather than too much before freezing. There are lots of websites suggesting ways of freezing mash.

When potatoes are cheap, I always cook a lot and freeze the surplus. I also freeze carrot and potato mash.
Don't stop doing things because you are growing old; you only grow old if you stop doing things.

I often freeze mashed potato - just as Earthmaiden suggests. Very successful :tu:

Yes, me too, but it does tend to go a bit wet as EM says (so it doesn't work if you intend to use it for potato cakes or anything that needs to hold its shape as it were).
