Tempeh

For those time when the Vegetarians and Vegans want to get away from the more carnivorous types.

Tempeh

I haven't cooked tempeh in years I have only ever made one Madhur Jaffrey recipe, very nice but limiting

Any ideas on what I can do with the pack currently in the fridge?

I'm not keen on it so haven't really used it in much (although I do have a block in my freezer I should do something with!) but there are some nice sounding recipes on here:

I've always enjoyed the stuff I've made from Isa's blog and books.

Again, I haven't tried any of them, but I also really like Vegan Richa's recipes:

Thanks smitch
Hmm... I hadn't really thought of cooking it western style, no reason why not, Richa's baked tempeh sounded appealing, and I like the idea of the tahini slaw a lot but I'm not sure I want to smother the tempeh in a mix of three bottked sauces

This is the Madhur Jaffrey recipe, of Indonesian origin

It is good with beer :chops:
